Deluxe Ski Jump 4 is a ski jumping simulator. The basics of the gameplay are the same as in previous versions - start sliding down by pressing left button, take-off by pressing both buttons, balance in air by moving mouse and finally land by pressing left/right button (a telemark, more stylish landing) or both buttons simultaneously (landing without telemark, a safer one but won't be rated so high by judges). However, there are some key changes in graphics and physics. This version moves more towards realism. Landing, especially on further distances, isn't as easy and requires correct balance in later part of flight. Falls are simulated by ragdoll system. Hills are now real objects where FIS races are being held (like Kuusamo HS-140, Planica HS-215). They are modeled after official designs, including profiles of hills. As in DSJ3, there is an online mode. It's free for three months after buying the full version, after that you must buy monthly subscription. There are international tourneys two times a week and national events every Sunday.
